These are images that come back when you close your eyes, they tingle when the light suddenly touches the retina. Recovered memories of past moments, a one-way trip or a return to moments that are mine, but also those of everyone. Imaginations merge, moving the eye to anchor the memory in a more organic reality. Anecdotal and synecdotal, the images speak to me to speak to you, subjective, suggestive, they lose me to better find them.
Resurgences is the continuum of a work on my family archives. It is a displacement in relation to the common family photograph: here, faces and figures are absent, but the bitterness of abstract memories is revealed in the form of samples, cuttings.
